Rachel and Huw's Highcliffe Castle Wedding in Dorset was a beautiful day that combined historic charm with modern romance. Nestled on the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast, this Grade I listed mansion offered the perfect setting for their special day, combining stunning architecture and panoramic sea views to create a magical atmosphere.

Built in the Romantic Gothic style, complete with ornate windows and grand halls, Highcliffe Castle reflects a bygone era of elegance and grandeur. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the castle provides an enchanting setting for events. A Highcliffe Castle wedding manages to both preserve the charm of the past, whilst captivating visitors with its timeless allure.

The wedding

The ceremony unfolded in the grand hall, where Rachel and Huw exchanged personalised vows bathed in the natural light streaming through the expansive windows. Following the ceremony, the guests revelled in the beautifully landscaped gardens of Highcliffe Castle, enjoying the picturesque surroundings and even engaging in a few rounds of croquet. Beautiful floristry by Simply Flowers ensured the timeless elegance of the venue was made even more special.

Moving to the main hall for the Wedding Breakfast, guests were treated to four lovely speeches from the father of the bride, the bridesmaid, Huw, himself and his best man. The celebration continued well into the night, with the bride and groom even finding themselves hoisted onto the shoulders of some enthusiastic guests at one point!
