A Hampshire Wedding
‘We are getting amazing feedback on the wedding video and people love how you’ve edited it, so just wanted to say thanks again!!’
A Hampshire Wedding Film
Creating a wedding film is not just about documenting an event; it's about capturing emotions, genuine moments, and the essence of two people starting their journey together. As Jess and Adam embarked on their Hampshire Wedding, I had the privilege of weaving their story into a timeless film.
The day began at Jess’ family home, where she started her bridal preparations surrounded by her closest friends, parents and her two sisters. As the anticipation built, it was clear to see how important family bonds were going to be on the day, and a few tears of joy were shed.
The Ceremony
With religion being a central part of both their lives, Jess & Adam were wed at the local church in Crookham village. The reverend was a close family friend of Jess’, which added an additional layer of authenticity to the words she spoke during her address, and meant that I was able to include a large amount of the address was still retaining a personal feel to the film. After the church ceremony, Jess & Adam travelled down one of the longest confetti-aisles I’ve ever seen, before jumping in a vintage sportscar to travel to the reception venue.
On the way, we stopped off with the photographer Emma in order for Jess & Adam to recite personal vows to one another. We selected a beautiful (if windy!) spot on top of a hill overlooking the family home, where Jess & Adam were able to express their love to one another in a more private and intimate setting.
The reception
The reception for this Hampshire Wedding was held at the family home - with a large Teepee-marquee erected in the garden. with such a lovely home, and such perfectly manicured gardens it was no wonder the decision was made to hold their wedding celebration there. A few rain showers did nothing to dampen the spirits, and the guests enjoyed a lovingly-prepared meal before partying the night away.
